LuneLab Makerspace provides an affordable shared workspace that is available to members 24/7. We are based in Halton Mill, Halton, Lancaster and setup as an unincorporated not-for-profit club, so when you join you will become a member of LuneLab.
There are three distinct spaces split across two connected ground floor rooms:
• Woodworking area
• Pottery area
• Art room “Art Lab”
We run an unincorporated not-for-profit club, so when you join you will become a member of the LuneLab Makerspace. Anyone over the age of 18 is welcome to join as a member, which will require you to pay a monthly subscription to use our facilities. Under 18's are welcome to if accompanied by an adult who takes full responsibility for them.
We expect ALL members to help keep the space running, such as cleaning and tidying, since it only works with the voluntary efforts of members. No-one is paid to look after the space.
The standard monthly membership fee is £15. It must be paid by standing order.
If you wish to apply for membership, then please complete this application form. One of the volunteers will look at your application when they get time, so this may take several days, possibly longer if they are busy, so please be patient. We will contact you to sort out payment, an induction and final administration.
Members use a booking system so that they do not waste time travelling here only to find the space is already in use.
All members should book using Skedda before use, apart from the open sessions which are on Tuesday evenings (6pm onwards) and Sunday afternoons (2pm onwards).
